Headland Skeet & Gun Club

Headland Skeet & Gun Club is a private, members-only shotgun sports club in Headland, Alabama, where non-members must be accompanied by a current member. The club maintains two NSSA-sanctioned skeet ranges and one ATA trap range equipped with Canterbury voice-release systems, plus a shotgun pattern board for sighting in.

Alongside its skeet and trap fields, the club runs a 3-bay, 100-yard rifle range and a 5-bay pistol range, plus a clubhouse. Eye and ear protection are required on every range, and rapid-fire methods such as slide-fire or bump-stock use, along with fully automatic firearms, are barred, as are hand-thrown or personal steel targets — all targets must be shot from the firing line. The club regularly hosts NSSA- and ATA-affiliated skeet and trap tournaments drawing competitors across gauge classes from 12-gauge down to .410.
