Own Action Acres Pb?
01 // DETAILS
Full description and what we offer
Action Acres operates as an airsoft and paintball park designed specifically for families. Located just east of Canby, Oregon—25 miles south of Portland and 25 miles north of Salem—the facility sits in the sweet spot for the entire Willamette Valley region.
The park features 29 different playing fields across its property at 10381 S. Mulino Rd. Beyond competitive gameplay, they maintain dedicated target areas for shooters who want trigger time without the elimination aspect. Online preregistration saves money compared to on-site entry.
"Our focus is on family fun and safety." This isn't corporate speak—it shows up in every detail of their field rules and operations.
Action Acres runs an airsoft program with strict chronograph standards and weapon classifications:
| Weapon Type | Firing Mode | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| AEG, HPA, Polarstar, Wolverine, Redline, Tippmann | Semi-auto | 20 FPS limit at chrono station |
| DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) | Semi-auto | — |
| Bolt Action Sniper Rifles | Semi-auto | 50+ feet minimum distance |
| All SAWs (Squad Automatic Weapons) | Limited | 20 RPS max, 75-foot distance limit |
| CO2 & Green Gas Pistols | Variable | Pistols may be holstered in parking lot |
Eye protection requirements are non-negotiable: full-seal goggles with lower wire mesh ½ mask or full-face mask. No shop glasses, shooting glasses, or Matrix wire mouth protection allowed.
The ruleset includes missions with time-card activation, medic mechanics using red arm bands (one use per morning/afternoon), knife kills using silent mechanics, and bonus missions that can be stolen by either team. Tennis balls and Enola Gay smoke grenades add environmental gameplay elements during appropriate seasons.
Paintball markers must chrono at or below 300 FPS and may not exceed 15 rounds per second. Field paint only—personal paint results in $5 per warning and confiscation. Goggles are mandatory throughout gameplay; head shots above the chin line don't count, but all body hits count if paint breaks on contact.
Key mechanics: - Surrender rule: 20-foot engagement distance - Medic system for extended play - Paint checks require referee adjudication - Barrel plugs required outside play areas - Wiping paint off = automatic elimination and fee loss
Age requirement: Players must be 9+ years old. Anyone 18+ signs their own waiver; under-18 players need parent/guardian signature.
The facility maintains detailed eye protection guidance across three categories:
Goggles (recommended for skirmish play) - Brands: Arena, Eye Safety Systems, WileyX, Oakley, Black Hawk Industries - Must have Z87 marking (proof of 1/4" steel ball resistance) - Full seal around eyes prevents BB penetration
Glasses (target practice only) - WileyX climate-controlled with elastic bands are the only acceptable option - Gap risk makes them unsuitable for active gameplay - Not suggested for skirmish use
Masks (paintball-style, full face protection) - Provide maximum face coverage - Can muffle voice and fog easily - May prevent proper sight picture with rifles
Don't skimp on eye protection—you only have one pair of eyes. Test goggles by shooting them with your highest FPS gun from a few feet away 2-3 times if you're uncertain about their durability.
Action Acres enforces zero-tolerance policies on: - Alcohol and drug use (immediate removal) - Profane language, hate speech, and racial slurs - Real firearms or knives (immediate confiscation for the day) - Physical contact or horse play - Climbing structures over 4 feet - Shooting at field fixtures or signs
Spawn areas (marked on game maps with stars) have 4 designated respawn zones with no wait time. Teams are assigned 2 spawn areas each. Spawn camping or attacking respawn areas results in 200-point penalties.
The park is currently closed. Check their website for reopening announcements.
