C4 Training Group handles Alaska's concealed handgun permit course at their Fairbanks location (340 Merhar Ave, partnered with Alaska Ammo). The 12-hour program spans a day and a half—part classroom, part live fire.
- •Legal rights and state-required briefing
- •Mindset and situational awareness
- •Firearms safety and practical application
- •Weapons handling and ready positions
- •Shooting fundamentals and malfunction clearing
- •"Stop the Bleed" bleeding control training
- •State-required live fire assessment
- •State-required written test (open book)
- •Optional fingerprinting for permit processing
If you can't make your registered date, you can move to another class—just no refunds.
- •Prerequisites: Must be legally able to own a firearm, U.S. citizen (ITAR requirement), and able to legally possess a concealable handgun.
