Full description and what we offer
Established in 1989, Cook Inlet Archers has been the hub for bowhunters and archery enthusiasts across Alaska for over three decades. Their mission is straightforward: education, development, and respect for bowhunters, supported by a first-class facility.
The club conducts 3D shoots on the third Sunday of each month, October through May. These aren't members-only events—the public is welcome to visit on shoot days, and newcomers are actively encouraged to participate.
Shoot Fees: - Members: $20-$21 - Non-members: $25-$26 - Youth: $5-$6
Members have access to a maintained outdoor archery range located in Loretta French Park (a Municipality of Anchorage facility). The Target Loop closes on the 3rd Saturday of each month for course setup, then reopens with pillow targets available for shooting.

The club runs comprehensive educational programs covering safe archery practices, good shot placement, and ethical hunting. They host workshops and seminars for hunters at all levels. Beyond the technical side, Cook Inlet Archers is built on community—it's where people who share a passion for archery and bowhunting build friendships and stay connected through quarterly newsletters and social events.
The club tracks league results across multiple categories: Women's Bow Hunter Open, Men's Bow Hunter Open, Traditional classes (both men's and women's), and Youth/Cubs divisions. Scores from the current season are published, giving competitors a way to track performance across the season.
