Four Flyways Outfitters pioneered sea duck hunting guide services in Cold Bay, Alaska. Owner Jeff Wasley didn't just fall into this—he built a biology degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse around a waterfowl passion that started at age 12. Before outfitting, he spent years with the United States Geological Survey researching sea ducks, geese, and waterfowl migration patterns from Alaska to California and Mexico. He still maintains USGS relationships and provides data samples to the Biological Division in Anchorage.

This scientific background matters. When your outfitter understands bird behavior from a research perspective, you spend more time in front of birds.
