Alaska Eagle Eye Shooting Club

Alaska Eagle Eye Shooting Club operates a USA Shooting-sanctioned competitive program for youth and adult shooters focused on air rifle and air pistol disciplines. Based in Chugiak (16525 South Birchwood Loop Road), the club functions as a development pipeline for shooters looking to compete at state, regional, and national levels.

Competitive Programs: - Junior Olympic air rifle training and competition - Junior Olympic air pistol training and competition - State-level Junior Olympic championship qualifications (JORQ) - Regional competitions (2024 Western Regionals in Sandy, UT) - National Junior Olympic Championship pathway

Member Benefits: - Coaching from experienced staff - Range access and equipment use - Financial support for training and competition (meals, lodging, travel, entry fees as funding available) - Mental training and conditioning program development - Formal competition schedule planning

All participants agree to: - Sportsmanlike conduct and fair play - Respect for coaches, officials, and facilities - Abstention from illegal drugs and underage alcohol use - Professional appearance at competitions - 10:00 p.m. curfew at funded activities - Timely expense voucher submission (within 7 days) - Regular communication with coaching staff

Dress Code Requirements: Athletes wear designated Alaska Eagle Eye Shooting Club apparel at all official competitions and events. Social/casual clothing must be neat, clean, and free from offensive graphics or political statements.

The club handles logistics for funded activities: - Airfare arrangements at lowest rates (mileage reimbursement capped at airline cost) - Hotel accommodations for competitions - Meal reimbursement - Competition entry fees - Equipment handling for international travel (U.S. Customs Form #4457 required)

Athletes are responsible for submitting expense vouchers within 7 days to the Treasurer. Untimely submissions may not be honored.

The club's coaching staff develops individualized training regimens that include: - Range training schedules - Physical conditioning programs - Mental training protocols - Record fire and practice competition progression - Elite performance development focused on national competition readiness
