2A Training

2A Training specializes in getting shooters ready for Arizona's Concealed Carry Weapon permit process. They teach every Saturday at various Valley locations—contact them for the schedule and address.

Their courses cover the minimum state requirements for CCW issuance plus Arizona self-defense statutes. Here's the lineup:

• •No firearms needed for the 4-hour course. The 8-hour class requires a handgun, holster, case, eye/ear protection, and 150+ rounds.

You walk out of class with everything Arizona DPS needs—completed application, fingerprint cards, the works. The $60 AzDPS processing fee is separate. No waiting weeks for materials or figuring out paperwork on your own.

They also teach: - CPR/TECC (trauma/emergency care) - Active killer response - LEOSA qualification (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act) - General firearm safety and rules - NRA courses (beyond just CCW)

You need to be legally eligible to own a firearm and of good repute. For the 8-hour range course, basic pistol skills help but aren't required—they can work with you either way.
