Rich has been shooting competitively since early adulthood, starting with waterfowl hunting and expanding into ISSF 25 meter pistol, Service Rifle, IPSC, and IDPA competitions. His résumé includes IPSC North American Championships, Canadian Steel Challenge, and officiating at the World Police and Fire Games.
