Mike Grey's gun obsession started at 13 when his uncle took him to a trap shoot. Second place out of 20 competitors, gained respect from seasoned shooters—that's the foundation of The Broken Gun. After 10 years as a mechanic and 20+ years managing parts departments, he formalized his skills through American Gunsmith Institute training and launched The Broken Gun in 2023 in Mesa, Arizona.
