Full description and what we offer

Kings Tactical operates out of 218 W Hampton Ave in Mesa and specializes in professional Cerakote finishing—the ceramic coating that outperforms traditional finishes by over 10x in salt spray testing. They're booked out 1-2 weeks on standard jobs and 4+ weeks on complex design work.

Cerakote H-Series withstands heat up to 500-600°F and comes in dozens of colors. C-Series handles extreme temps up to 1700°F for suppressors and machine gun barrels. DFAC coating reduces friction on internal parts and resists carbon fouling.

They don't just spray and send it back. They understand tolerance stacking—masking pins and holes to keep slides racking smooth on tight 1911s, preserving important markings, and custom-fitting parts after coating when needed.

Kings Tactical publishes their actual constraints, not marketing fluff. They tell you upfront:

  • Don't coat fiberglass stocks (they'll do it but won't warranty the result)
  • Won't coat sears, springs, or tolerance-critical internals
  • Tight 1911 fits need hand-fitting after coating ($$ but worth it)
  • Markings get lost during media blasting unless machine engraved
  • They mask serial numbers per ATF regulations

Turnaround times: - Standard single/multi-color Cerakote: 1-2 weeks after drop-off - Design jobs and breakdowns: 4+ weeks - Laser engraving: same day to 12 weeks - Gunsmith work: varies by project

$50 minimum on all Cerakote orders. Call ahead for exact pricing on your specific firearm—Springfield XD runs $200, XDM is $250, and every gun presents different breakdown complexity.
