No Excuse Hunting and Outdoors operates on a simple principle: having a disability isn't the same as having an inability to enjoy the outdoors. Founded in 2014 by Dan Ferraro—who lost his eyesight in a car accident but refused to abandon his passion for hunting—the organization has spent over a decade proving that determination and proper support make outdoor pursuits possible for everyone.

No Excuse Hunting runs guided hunting and fishing trips tailored for people with physical or visual disabilities:

Started in 2016, the annual C.H.A.M.P. (Challenged Hunter Access Mobility Program) Day at Bass Pro Shop in Mesa, Arizona, has become the organization's flagship event. The expo brings together:

No Excuse Hunting defines success differently than traditional hunting metrics. A successful trip isn't about harvesting an animal or landing the biggest fish. It's about getting outdoors and doing what many take for granted despite physical or visual challenges. Whether someone was born with a disability or acquired one through accident, illness, or military service, the organization's focus is on enabling participation—not limitations.

The organization operates through a combination of donations from sponsors and volunteer support, allowing them to fund trips and donate equipment to participants who might otherwise face financial barriers.
