Paul Bourgeois spent 25 years in the fire service, including serving as fire chief at Superstition Fire and Medical District in Apache Junction and Gold Canyon. But his real passion was hunting. After retiring from firefighting, he transitioned to guiding big-game hunters full-time—and customers kept asking to buy his rifle.
The brick-and-mortar retail store opened in August 2023 at 1058 N. Higley Road, Suite 108 in Mesa after the business started online as Best of the West Arizona (BOTWAZ) in 2019.
