Pucci Associates

Pucci Associates operates from Surprise, Arizona (west Phoenix metro) and conducts classes throughout Colorado. Co-founder Paul Pucci is a retired US Army officer—airborne and ranger qualified—who served in Germany, Korea, Panama, and the Middle East. He holds master's degrees in Criminal Justice and Management (Information Systems).

Paul is an NRA Senior Training Counselor (STC) authorized to train instructor candidates and training counselor candidates. He holds NRA Chief Range Safety Officer (CRSO) certification and is certified by Utah and Kansas to teach concealed handgun permit classes. He's a Diamond Elite lifetime member of Front Sight Firearms Academy and attends at least one of their courses annually.

As a volunteer with Troop I of the Colorado Mounted Rangers (CMR)—Colorado's oldest law enforcement agency—Paul is the primary firearms instructor and has written firearms lesson plans for the department. He completed Colorado's Peace Officer's Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Firearms Instructor course.

Co-founder Sara Pucci is an NRA pistol and home firearm safety instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer, and graduate of Front Sight's 4-Day Defensive Handgun course.

"We do not believe in meeting just the minimums. All training meets or exceeds the minimums required. Training classes are student centered and objective-based, not instructor centered and time-based."

Their philosophy centers on quality professional education. Small class sizes (maximum 10 students) ensure individual attention. Course materials and range fees are included in pricing.

Paul's first aid background is equally extensive. Originally certified as an American Red Cross CPR, AED, and First Aid Instructor in 1985, he now holds:

Paul has been a scuba instructor since 1980 and is a PADI Course Director teaching entry-level through instructor certifications. He's an instructor-trainer for 23 diving specialties and has dived globally.

Advance registration with full payment required. Course fees include materials and range access. No refunds issued, but rescheduling available up to 6 months from original date (or 4 months from reschedule date). Students cover state application fees, fingerprinting, and photo fees separately.
