Sierra Tactical Auctions

Sierra Tactical Auctions operates as a licensed FFL firearms auctioneer based at 42 West Hatcher Road, Phoenix, AZ 85021. They run regular monthly auctions featuring firearms, accessories, and knives—all sold online with live bidding.

Bidding happens online. Once an auction closes, winning bidders have a three-day window to pay in full. All firearms sales are final—no refunds, returns, or exchanges under any circumstances.

• •Payment Methods NOT Accepted: Personal checks, business checks, money orders, Zelle, or cash.

Payments must be received by 3:00 PM on Thursday following the auction close. Late payments trigger a daily penalty equal to 3% of the outstanding balance or $10 per lot per day—whichever is higher.

Firearms must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer of your choice. Sierra Tactical will not contact the FFL on your behalf—that's your responsibility. You provide a copy of the FFL's license via email to `[email protected]`.

• •Ammunition Shipping Restrictions: All ammo ships via UPS Ground only. Several states have restrictions:
• •Alaska & Hawaii: No ammunition shipments
• •California: Ammo only to non-restricted areas, must ship through an FFL
• •Illinois: No Chicago shipments; elsewhere requires valid FOID card
• •Massachusetts, DC: No ammunition shipments
• •Connecticut, New York, New Jersey: Varying requirements based on caliber and permits

Out-of-state bidders who pick up in person must pay 8.6% Arizona sales tax—no exceptions.

• •Preview: By appointment only, typically Friday before the auction. Call 602-558-9393 or email `[email protected]` to schedule.

• •Pickup: Tuesday through Friday, 9am to 3pm. Must be paid in full before removal. Arizona residents need a valid AZ ID matching their registered address and must pass an ATF background check.

• •Important: Sierra Tactical does NOT offer storage. If you don't pick up by the deadline, a $10/lot/day storage fee applies.

• •Minimum age 18 for rifles and shotguns
• •Minimum age 21 for handguns and "other firearms" (frames, receivers, pistol-grip shotguns)
• •Minimum age 18 for long gun ammunition
• •Minimum age 21 for handgun ammunition
• •USA buyers only. Know your state and local laws before bidding—it's your responsibility. If you win something that can't legally ship to your state, you still pay in full. Sierra Tactical will relist it and charge a 20% relisting fee.

Firearms are sold as-is. Sierra Tactical does not take guns apart, test fire them, or guarantee internal components are present or functional. You get a description and photos—that's it. Inspections are encouraged before bidding. If you don't bid, you waive your right to inspect and accept full responsibility for condition.

Bidding errors are your problem. No refunds for mistakes. If you make an error before the auction starts, call 602-558-9393 to correct it.

• •Deposits: May be required at registration. Deposits are refunded upon full payment or applied to final purchases at STA's discretion.
• •Failed Background Checks: If you don't pass the NICS check at your FFL, STA refunds your money minus a $200 cancellation fee plus return shipping costs.
• •Returned/Refused Shipments: If UPS returns or refuses delivery, the item gets relisted. You get a check minus 30% relisting fee and a $100 admin fee.
• •Renege Fees: Back out of a winning bid? Minimum $200 or 20% of bid price, whichever is greater.
