Sportsman's Club

The Sportsman's Club of Sun City West is a recreational organization for Arizona outdoor enthusiasts offering multiple shooting and field sports activities. Located in Sun City West, Arizona, the club provides organized opportunities for members to participate in target shooting, clay target sports, and other outdoor pursuits.

The club operates two primary shooting programs:

• •Clay Target Sports - Trap, skeet, and sporting clays shooting held September through April on Tuesday mornings at Ben Avery Shooting Facility
• •Target Shooting - Rifle and pistol shooting held twice monthly (2nd and 4th Wednesdays) at various ranges including Wickenburg Sportsmen's Club and Ben Avery Shooting Facility

Membership is open to all Sun City West Recreational Card holders. The club holds general membership meetings eight times yearly (September through April) on the second or third Monday of each month at Palm Ridge Social Hall from 1:00–3:00 PM. These meetings provide opportunities to meet activity leaders, learn about programs, and participate in educational presentations.

Beyond shooting sports, the Sportsman's Club also organizes:

The club welcomes both experienced shooters and novices. Safety is paramount, with experienced members available to assist newcomers. All activities and meetings are open to members and accompanied guests.
