Dougs Concealed Handgun School

William Douglas Green (Instructor #97-336) has been an Arkansas State Police certified concealed handgun instructor since 1997. Over nearly three decades, he's trained hundreds of shooters through the ASP-approved curriculum for Arkansas concealed carry licensing.

Standard CHCL ($85) - One Saturday, 8:30 am-3 pm - Live scan fingerprinting on-site - 21-foot firing range qualification - 42-page booklet covering Arkansas law, safe handling, ballistics, criminal/weapons law, fundamentals - Lunch, snacks, and drinks provided - Minimum 20 rounds to qualify

Enhanced CHCL ($100) - One Saturday, 8:30 am-3 pm - Expanded carry privileges (more locations allowed) - 52-page booklet on law and prohibited places - Firing at 3, 7, and 15 yards with B-27 targets - Enhanced endorsement never needs renewal - Lunch, snacks, and drinks provided

Renewal Class ($25) - Saturday at 4:30 pm - Licenses renew every 5 years - Latest law changes covered - 7-yard qualification on IPSC silhouettes - Application and training page provided

Every class covers the Arkansas Concealed Carry Laws, ballistics, gun safety and fundamentals, and criminal/weapons laws. Doug provides all ASP paperwork and training pages. Students can complete the ASP application online and pay there, bringing a confirmation number to class.

Don't have a handgun? Doug has several .22 semi-automatic handguns available at no charge for qualifying. He only charges for ammunition if you don't bring your own.

When Arkansas State Police stopped accepting ink fingerprint cards in July, Doug invested in live scan equipment and software, doing business as Central Arkansas Live Scan. Fingerprints are transmitted electronically during Standard CHCL classes—no delays, no rejected paperwork.

Monthly Schedule: - Standard classes: Jan 10, Feb 7, Mar 14, Apr 4, May 9 - Enhanced classes: Jan 24, Feb 28, Mar 21, Apr 18, May 23 - Renewals offered twice monthly

Pre-registration required. Contact Doug in advance so his wife Kathy can plan lunch and handle all paperwork details.
