Fort Thompson Sporting Goods started in 1931 when Clyde Thompson opened a grocery and hardware store in North Little Rock. Firearms and ammunition sales began in the back storeroom and grew from there. Today, the family business operates a full retail location in Sherwood, Arkansas, serving hunters and shooters across the region.
