Full description and what we offer

Liberty Hill Outfitters is a private hunting preserve founded by Stephen Crancer and co-owned by his daughter Marla. The operation sits on 600+ acres 5 miles north of Rector, Arkansas—land acquired by Stephen's grandfather in 1948. For over 20 years, LHO has been bringing hunters together for guided upland bird hunts and whitetail experiences.

  • •Upland Bird Hunts — Quail, pheasant, and chukar hunts with trained bird dogs. Guides handle all the heavy lifting while you shoot. No hunting license required. Half-day rates run $275 per shooter with shells and meal included.
  • •European-Style Tower Pheasant — Groups of 10-20 shooters rotate through stations taking fast-flying pheasants released from a tower. Small groups shoot 100 birds, larger groups go for 200. Includes 2 boxes of shells, lunch or dinner, and bird processing. $375 per shooter.
  • •Double Down Adventure — Combine a morning deer hunt with an afternoon upland shoot (or vice versa). You pick quail or pheasant for the bird portion. All-inclusive pricing available on request.
  • •Whitetail Deer Hunts — Morning and afternoon hunts during season. Developed in recent years with help from guides Beau Wicker and Danny Moore.

The property includes: - 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom lodge (sleeps up to 6 hunters) - Cook house for meal preparation - 4 stocked ponds with bass, catfish, brim, and crappie - Skeet shooting range - On-site taxidermist available to mount harvested birds - Event center named for Sue Marlar Gamble
