CA-IDPA Shooters hosts practical competitive shooting matches focused on defensive tactics and carry gear simulation in Westminster, Arkansas. This IDPA-affiliated club specializes in realistic self-defense scenarios designed for concealed carry (CCW) holders.

CA-IDPA Shooters conducts IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) matches that simulate real-world defensive encounters. Matches require advanced shooting skills including:

This is not a beginner's range. Shooters must arrive with foundational skills already developed through professional training courses, competition experience, or certified instruction. YouTube videos alone are insufficient preparation. New shooters are required to attend an 8am orientation briefing before their first match.

Matches accommodate multiple IDPA divisions with varying equipment specifications. Permitted firearms include:

• •Pistols: Minimum 9mm caliber (production handguns with barrels up to 5 inches)
• •Revolvers: .38 Special minimum with 4-inch barrel or less
• •Pistol Caliber Carbines: 9mm, .357 Sig, .40 S&W, 10mm, .45 ACP

Conceal carry gear is mandatory—strong-side hip holsters with trigger guard coverage and magazine pouches are required.
