Crossed Star Firearms is run by Morgan Bischoff, an NRA, DOJ, and Range Safety Officer certified instructor. She operates across four locations—Loma Rica, Chico, Roseville, and Susanville—and serves 10+ Northern California counties including Sacramento, Contra Costa, Butte, Nevada, Placer, Yuba, Sutter, and others.

Bischoff's CCW courses are recognized by multiple Northern California agencies for carry permit applications:

• •8-Hour CCW Renewal — $175. Covers shooting fundamentals, defensive encounters, aftermath protocols, and malfunction remediation.
• •16-Hour Initial CCW (2-Day) — $300. Deeper dive into firearm safety, ammunition knowledge, proper mindset, controlling dangerous encounters, and range time.
• •2-Hour Multi-State CCW — $125. For people carrying across state lines.
• •Non-Resident CA CCW — Available hybrid or in-person depending on county requirements.

All classes welcome absolute beginners and experienced shooters alike:

• •Pistol Intro — $150, 4 hours. Covers firearm selection, safe handling, storage, cleaning, and the fundamentals.
• •Pistol Basics — $150, full day. Parts, function, ammunition, safety, shooting fundamentals, and range practice.
• •Ladies Pistol — $150, 4 hours. Same intro content in a women-focused learning environment.
• •Intro to Rifles — Rifle fundamentals for new shooters.
• •Intro to Shotgun — Shotgun operation and safety basics.
• •Private Lessons — $75/hour, one-on-one or small groups tailored to your needs.
