Sunny Le started shooting at 13 in his high school JROTC Marksmanship Unit, then moved into the Army Explorer program where he trained with live firearms. What began as a passion became a profession—he's been instructing privately since 2006 and opened Eclipse Firearms Training in late 2015.

Sunny's instruction style focuses on biomechanics and efficiency. He emphasizes principles before technique, believing that understanding why something works matters more than memorizing steps. His specialty is shooter diagnostics—identifying what's actually limiting your performance and fixing it.

Beyond private instruction, Sunny has trained with multiple world-class instructors across various disciplines and served as a Firearms Instructor for BAT Tactical and Defensive Accuracy. He was also a Correctional Officer with the Merced County Sheriff's Office (2019-2023), where he was certified on Less Lethal Shotguns and served as the department's EVOC instructor.

In June 2025, Sunny closed the Eclipse Firearms retail storefront to focus entirely on training—allowing him to dedicate full attention to sharing his passion for firearms instruction.
