Guides & Experience Tejon's guides have years of ranch experience locating animals and navigating the terrain. Most guided hunts run a 2:1 hunter-to-guide ratio. Trophy elk hunts include support staff for the duration. Group hunts assign a Hunt Steward to educate on ranch rules and techniques—they oversee but don't accompany hunters in the field.
Lodging & Meals Hunters stay in private, fully equipped hunting lodges right on the ranch. Each lodge has hot showers, towels, bedding, and a full kitchen. Meals are included: dinner prepared by staff the first night, continental breakfast, lunch, and dinner the second day, and continental breakfast on departure.
Tejon welcomes all experience levels. Staff will personally walk you through scheduling, preparation, safety, and field procedures.
Ammunition & Licensing - Non-lead ammunition required for all hunting on Tejon Ranch - Valid California hunting license mandatory - Licenses available for purchase at the Tejon Ranch Wildlife Management Office
What to Bring Hunters should come prepared for vast and varying terrain, changing weather, and basic needs for game transportation when leaving the ranch.
Tejon offers membership packages for hunters who want regular access. Contact Efren Munoz Jr. at 661-663-4206 for membership details.

"Tejon Ranch provides me the opportunity to teach my son how to hunt as my father taught me. From the initial shot, to caring for the meat in the field, to processing the meat at home, nothing beats wild protein." — Jeff Sandefur
"I have been hunting the Tejon Ranch for fifteen years on both guided and unguided hunts…hunting Tejon is a truly extraordinary experience." — Les Osterberger, San Diego, CA
