NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course

A2 Defense Training offers NRA-certified pistol instruction in California's Inland Empire region. Led by Ray Alipanah, a DOJ-certified firearms expert with 25+ years of experience, this instructor-led program combines classroom education with live-fire training at professional shooting facilities.

The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course is a comprehensive 8-hour program designed for both beginners and experienced shooters. This hands-on certification course covers firearm safety, shooting fundamentals, and responsible pistol ownership through a combination of:

• •Classroom instruction (available in-person or via Zoom at Lake Forest or Anaheim Hills locations)
• •Live-fire training at Prado Olympic Shooting Park in Chino

• •Master essential firearm safety rules and proper gun handling

• •Understand pistol operation for both semiautomatic and revolver platforms

Classes feature limited enrollment to ensure personalized instruction from certified professionals. Ray Alipanah tailors instruction to your specific firearms and experience level. Upon successful completion and exam passage, students receive an official NRA Basic Pistol Certificate.
