The CCW School specializes in California concealed carry permit training and introductory firearms instruction. Their courses are approved by Orange County Sheriff's Department, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, and numerous other CA agencies through myCCW.us.
CCW Permit Training - 16-hour initial application course (new applicants) - 8-hour renewal course (existing permit holders) - Online + in-person live-fire hybrid option (select cities/agencies only) - Court-ordered firearm safety classes (4 or 8-hour formats)
Basic Firearms Instruction - 2-hour basic pistol or rifle fundamentals - Holster draw introduction (2 hours) - Full NRA Basic Pistol Course with certification - Private lessons available by appointment
Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC) - Required for all California handgun purchases - 30-question DOJ-certified instructor test - Valid for 5 years
Each NRA course includes classroom and live-fire instruction, range fees, gun rentals, ammunition, targets, eye and ear protection, the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, and completion certificate.
Instructor Credentials - All instructors are NRA Certified - 20+ years of shooting experience minimum
