Silicon Valley Tactical handles CCW certification for Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Contra Costa, San Mateo, and Monterey counties, plus City of Palo Alto, Campbell, San Francisco, and Sunnyvale. Their courses meet California DOJ regulations and authorize you to apply with your local agency.

16-Hour Initial CCW Course - $479 per participant Two-day program covering firearm safety, legal requirements, pistol nomenclature, ammunition selection, defensive skills, drawing from concealment, and carry modes. Includes instruction, range fees, targets, and certificate. Does not include firearm, ammo, or gear.

Classroom day covers theory and dry-fire practice. Range day focuses on safety, marksmanship, firearm handling, and the state-mandated qualification course(s). You must bring the actual firearms you're listing on your permit application.

• •8-Hour CCW Renewal - For existing permit holders renewing their certification.

• •Add Gun to Permit - Qualify additional firearms on an active CCW permit.

3-Hour CCW Prep Clinic - $149 Brush up on equipment, firearm handling, holster presentation, and qualification distances before taking the full 16-hour course. Bring gear but no ammunition.

Once you hold a CCW permit, join their monthly clinics covering real-world scenarios: drawing while seated, engaging multiple targets, shooting in confined spaces, use of cover and concealment, and live-fire problem solving.
