Triple A's handles all California firearm requirements—10-day waiting periods, background checks, Firearm Safety Certificate testing (they administer the 30-question test in-store for $25), and proof-of-residency verification. They also conduct the mandatory safety demonstration before you leave with your gun.

• •Private Party Transfers – Available by appointment only (walk-ins not accepted). One gun per transfer, before 3:00 PM daily. Both buyer and seller must provide California residency proof and meet all state requirements.
