Alpine Outfitters is a Colorado licensed and bonded guide and outfitter running guided hunting and fishing expeditions across the Western Slope. The operation holds special use permits from the United States Forest Service for Gunnison National Forest, BLM in GMU 66, Gunnison CPW, and Curecanti Recreation Area.
Gunnison sits in the Gunnison Basin, carved by ancient glaciers and fed by pristine rivers. The region's expansive wilderness includes Gunnison National Forest and high-altitude terrain supporting healthy populations of mule deer, elk, moose, black bears, bighorn sheep, and mountain goats.
Lake City nestles deep in the San Juan Mountains—historical mining country with rugged, remote terrain ideal for trophy hunting. The high-altitude wilderness here offers some of Colorado's most challenging hunting conditions.
