Ragnar Tactical

Ragnar Tactical is run by a cadre of former police and military instructors who are also avid competition shooters. They teach what they actually use—no theory-only training.

Handgun & Permit Classes - Level 1 Handgun/Permit: Basic course for beginners. Even if you've never held a gun, you'll have the knowledge and confidence to safely handle one after completion. Meets Colorado CCW permit requirements. - Level 2 Pistol: Intermediate/advanced pistol focusing on movement, tactics, and speed. Includes red dot options.

Rifle & Carbine - Semi-automatic carbine safety and handling - Precision rifle course for long-range shooting and hunters

Specialized Training - Active Shooter Response: Covers tactics and survival knowledge for armed or unarmed civilians in mass violence scenarios - Self-Defense Classes: Tailored for armed citizens, teaching protection and escape from standing and ground positions - Tactical Shotgun - Close Quarters Battle - Permit Recertification

Many firearms training providers don't include actual shooting. Ragnar's classes are hands-on at private ranges.

They operate two private ranges—one near Bennett, one near Kiowa. Both are less than an hour from Denver and accessible to Aurora residents.

Level matters here: Beginners get slow, steady, patient instruction. Seasoned shooters consistently remark they learn something new with every course.
