Flat Tops Adventures operates under permit in White River National Forest units 33 and 34—right in the middle of the largest elk herd in the world. Forest Keith, an award-winning elk caller and lifelong Western Colorado native, built this outfitter with guides who know the Flat Tops terrain like locals (because they are).
Guided Hunts - Archery hunts (September): $5,000–$6,000 per person - Rifle hunts (October–November): $5,000–$6,000 per person - Combo tags available: Mule Deer (+$2,500), Bear (+$500) - Drop camps (self-guided): $2,500 per person minimum 4 people
Other Adventures - Mountain fishing: $250/day or $2,000/week - Family getaways: Day trips to multi-night packages - Remote horseback trips: Day trips to week-long progressive camping
Hunts run 7 days: 1 day pack-in, 5 full hunting days, 1 day pack-out. Accommodations range from drive-in glamping to 8-mile horseback rides to remote wall tents, depending on your fitness level. All guided packages include: - Transportation to camp - Wall tent with heated cots - All meals and drinks - Professional guide services - Field dressing and meat transportation

Forest Keith (owner/guide) is a bowhunter and elite elk caller. Kelly Keith (owner/operator) grew up in the area. Guides include Tristan Woolery (archery and fly fishing specialist), Hunter Bagett (backcountry elk calling), Thomas Cose (4th generation Western Colorado native), and international guides Jardine van den Heever and Maruzaan de Kock.
Unit 33 vs. Unit 34: Unit 33 is a remote, roadless draw unit; Unit 34 is over-the-counter with larger acreage and more drive-in options. Both average 250–350 inch bull elk.
