Ashley Gillespe started Go West Taxidermy in 2018 after years of doing taxidermy work on the side. She trained at Colorado School of Taxidermy in 2008 and has been creating mounts professionally for over a decade. Her studio sits in Steamboat Springs—the heart of Colorado elk country—and she's deeply involved in the hunting community through Keep Routt Wild and Rocky Mountain Sportswomen.
