Basic Pistol students need to bring 100 rounds of ammunition for Range Day qualification. Paradise Sales stocks ammo in-house if you want to buy it there. On Range Day, lunch is available at Cactus Flats clubhouse for $25, or bring your own.
Classes use Cactus Flats Shooting Range in Penrose, CO (about 40 minutes south). The group meets at the store at 8:30 AM and drives down together, arriving around 9:30 AM. Range day runs roughly 8 hours, so dress for the weather and bring sunscreen. Long sleeves recommended to avoid hot brass.
Beyond running the shop, Paul has legitimate credentials that set this place apart:
"Paul himself is an Army veteran who is passionate about 2nd amendment rights issues."
