TS Customs manufactures purpose-built precision rifles in Miller, South Dakota. Every build starts with a conversation about how you'll actually use the rifle—whether that's hunting elk in the Black Hills, chasing antelope across prairie, or competing in precision rifle disciplines like NRL Hunter or PRS.

The team builds around a philosophy of application-specific rifles. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, each rifle is tailored to your intended use and shooting background.

Standard Build Components: - Receivers: Impact Precision or Lone Peak Arms (custom actions with one-piece fluted bolts, integral rails, M16 extractors, improved ergonomics) - Barrels: Benchmark Barrel blanks—consistently accurate barrels they've trusted for over a decade - Stocks: Their proprietary KS1 or KS1 Adjustable carbon fiber stocks (30oz and 42oz respectively) - Triggers: Trigger Tech for reliability and consistency - Bottom Metal: Hawkins Precision floorplates and detachable magazine systems - Optic Mounts: Hawkins Precision rings and one-piece mounts

Typical lead time is 2-3 months after parts arrive in shop.

Drawing from 10 years of competitive shooting and long-range hunting, TS Customs designed the KS1 as a lightweight, long-range hunting stock with specific geometry:

• •Vertical grip positioned closer to the trigger than competing hunting stocks—puts more hand on grip, lets you pull straight back instead of pressing sideways
• •High, straight comb only 2/10" below bore line—comfortable cheek weld with low-to-medium optic mounts
• •Zero drop at recoil pad—more pad contact in prone or compromised positions means better recoil management
• •Long, slender forearm with flush Picatinny rail—greater distance between front and rear support, less bipod hop, brings bipod closer to bore for reduced recoil torque in large magnums

• •Weight: KS1 at 30oz finished (standard), KS1 Adjustable at 42oz. Optional short or full-length Arca rails add 1-4oz.

• •Finish Options: 40+ color choices including Ambush patterns (Altitude, Desert, Timber, Alpine, etc.), Instinct finishes, and Web finishes in various color combinations.

TS Customs has extensive experience with modern cartridges (6.5 PRC, 300 PRC, 7mm PRC, 6.5 SAUM, 6.5 Creedmoor, and more). They maintain a growing library of chamber reamers and can design custom reamer specifications to optimize your chosen cartridge for popular bullets and available brass.

They provide detailed barrel cleaning guidance and recommend tracking cleaning intervals via a barrel log to maintain accuracy over time. Emphasis on proper one-piece cleaning rods, bore guides, and quality jags.
