LJB Security Training provides Connecticut-mandated certification courses for anyone pursuing security work or a pistol permit. Based in East Haven, CT, the company has been operating since 2004 when Connecticut passed Public Act 08-73, requiring all private security training to be state-approved and all instructors certified by the Department of Emergency Services & Public Protection.

Security Guard & Management Training - CT Guard Card Certification ($100-$125, 8 hours, mandatory state requirement) – Required for all uniformed security officers in Connecticut. Classes run Wednesdays and multiple locations including East Haven (main), Bristol, Stamford, and Hartford. - MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) – De-escalation and behavioral control - Security Manager/Supervisor Seminar – Leadership and compliance training - Ultimate Unarmed Security Officer Package – Comprehensive entry-level bundling - Loss Prevention Certification Seminar - Facility Emergency Management - Incident/Accident Investigation Seminar - Report Writing for Managers
