Big Paw Outfitters operates a hunting lodge in Renous, New Brunswick, specializing in guided black bear and moose hunts in Zone 7—the largest and least-hunted zone in the province. 5-day hunts run in two seasons: - Spring: May 18–June 19 (2026) / May 17–June 18 (2027) - Fall: September 1–18 (2026) / September 6–17 (2027)
$2,100 US per hunter includes 6 nights lodging, guide, all meals, transportation, skinning, field dressing, and trophy storage. Legal weapons: rifle, crossbow, muzzleloader, or shotgun with slug.
Hunts occur over guaranteed active bait sites. Most stands are permanent tree stands positioned within 20 yards of bait—close enough for solid trophy evaluation. All baits are trail-timed to determine peak activity.
5-day hunts run late September (last Tuesday–Saturday): - 2026: September 22–26 - 2027: September 21–25
$4,600 US per hunter includes 6 nights lodging, guide, all meals, transportation, skinning, field dressing, and trophy storage. Moose regularly exceed 1,000 pounds with magnificent racks.
