Cassels Waterfowl Outfitters operates year-round hunting trips for all species of waterfowl across southern New Jersey's best zones—from the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware Bay coast to prime marsh country. Scott Cassel founded the operation on serious waterfowl obsession. He's a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain who's hunted ducks and geese from Manitoba and Arkansas to the entire Atlantic Flyway.

Ocean and Bay Hunts: - Scoter, Old Squaw, and occasional Eider from the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware Bay - Decoying shots typically 15-25 yards - Specialized sea duck and diver techniques

Marsh Hunts: - Puddle ducks (mallards, blacks, woodies, teal) in South Zone marshes - Wide variety of resident and migrating flocks - Atlantic Brant on occasion

Goose Hunting: - Canada geese hunted September through February - Snow geese in all southern zones - Well-scouted locations across New Jersey

Six guides work alongside Cassel—all experienced, all trustworthy:

• •Barry Readinger – Started at twelve with 50 black trash bags as decoys. Won calling contests by fourteen. Has hunted across the U.S. and Argentina. Competitive sporting clays shooter. Ducks Unlimited volunteer.

• •Chad Seymour – 2000 Pennsylvania State duck calling champion. Competed in Stuttgart World Championship calling contest four times. Won New Jersey state title three times. Pro-staff for RNT and Natgear camo. Dealer for RNT calls and products.

• •Donnie Davis – Fortescue native who grew up running boats through South Jersey marshes. Fifteen years of exclusive duck hunting. Specialist in puddle ducks along Delaware Bay. Local expert on reading duck patterns and finding birds in remote water.

• •Marcus R. Riddell – Twenty-six years hunting experience. Started on the Susquehanna River with hand-carved cork magnum decoys. Firefighter at Perseverance Fire Company. Pro-staff for Banded Calls, Hevi Shot, and Goose Noose Lanyards.

• •Steve Lessel – USCG licensed captain with extensive experience on large and small waters. Primary passion for divers and sea ducks. Hunted New England, Great Lakes, North Carolina, and Alaska. Off-season charter boat captain on the "Megan Beth" (38' saltwater charter). Also a serious waterfowl photographer.

Setup happens before first light. They provide all equipment and focus on safe, professional hunts with educational value. Custom hunts available with advance notice to accommodate special requests. Prime dates book quickly.
