Full description and what we offer
Established in 2012, Cypress Ridge operates on 500 acres of wild Georgia woodlands and is located just 30 minutes west of Orlando—making it convenient for hunters flying in from Florida or combining a hunting trip with a family vacation.
Their whitetail operation focuses on naturally reproducing deer. They don't turn animals loose before hunts like some operations do. All deer are managed for health, and they don't harvest any deer under three years old, allowing bucks to fully mature. This approach means hunting here is actual hunting—not a guaranteed kill. Your guides position you in one of nine different stands (including handicap-accessible box blinds and elevated blinds), but the deer are free-range and wild.
3-Day Whitetail Package: $3,999 - Includes lodging, meals, beverages, guide service, caping, and ice - Non-hunter rate: $200 per day - Daily rate: $250 per person (plus trophy fees) - Hog hunting available as bonus during whitetail season
Eastern turkeys in Randolph County Georgia are notably different from other subspecies. They're more vocal when roosting at night but come in silent on the ground most of the time. The terrain—oak hammocks, palmetto flats, cypress heads, and swamps—makes for challenging, rewarding hunts.
All hunts are fully guided. You can do the calling yourself with a guide present, or let your guide handle it. They book a limited number of Eastern hunts each spring, so booking early is smart.
3-Day Eastern Turkey Package: $3,500 (All-inclusive) - Season: April start date - Lodging, meals, beverages, and guide service included - Daily rate: $250 per person (plus trophy fees) - Non-hunter rate: $200 per day
"You can't get the grand slam without an Eastern. But you have come to the right place." — From their hunting philosophy
This is a genuine European tradition that goes back to European royalty. The course has 11 shooting stations arranged around a 30-foot tall tower. One or two shooters man each station while pheasants are released one at a time. Every 10-20 birds, shooters rotate stations to experience different angles.
If all stations are full, they release 220 birds total—providing nonstop action. After the shoot, all birds are cleaned and divided equally among the shooters.
Safety requirements: - 2 3/4 inch shells only, #6 shot or lighter - Eye protection required - Safety orange vest required - Equipment available for purchase or rental at the lodge - Shotguns available for rent if you don't have your own
After shooting, shooters enjoy a full lunch and open bar at the lodge.
