Miami Shooters Club

Marcos Avellan has been shooting since 1998, but started formal training in 2012. In February 2013, he became a certified NRA Pistol Instructor—then kept going. By March 2016, he qualified as an NRA Training Counselor, one of only ~400 active in the entire USA. That credential means he certifies other people to become NRA instructors across six disciplines: Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Personal Protection Inside/Outside the Home, and Range Safety Officer.

Miami Shooters Club operates at 1425 SW 107 Ave in Miami with a private tactical range that actually lets you train the way defensive shooting demands:

• •Shoot while moving
• •Shoot from behind cover and concealment
• •Low-light training
• •Multiple shooting positions (kneeling, prone, etc.)
• •Firearm retention drills
• •Vehicular defense

NRA Courses (pistol, rifle, shotgun basics and personal protection)

Concealed Carry Permits — taught 4 times weekly, averaging 60 students per week

Custom Curriculum developed from Marcos' own certifications: - Asymmetric Solutions (7-10 days under former Green Berets and Navy SEALs) - 40-hour Deadly Force Instructor certification under Massad Ayoob - Certified Glock Armorer and Glock Instructor - Simunitions training certified - 3-Range Combatives under Chad LeBrun (MACP certified)

Marcos travels nationwide conducting NRA Pistol Instructor Courses at schools and businesses, certifying entire staffs. If you own a facility in a CCW-required state, this can be a major revenue stream.
