Switchgrass Outfitters

Switchgrass Outfitters operates out of central Florida, minutes from Orlando, Daytona, Cocoa Beach, and Kennedy Space Center. The business runs two main operations: commercial airboat eco-tours and fully guided hunting expeditions for hog, gator, and turkey.

Captain Seth is a USCG-licensed master captain and lifelong Florida hunter. He grew up hunting Florida's woods and fishing its waters. He founded Switchgrass Outfitters to guide both first-time hunters and experienced outdoorsmen through Florida's unique wildlife experiences. Seth's cur dog bloodline and hunting philosophy are detailed in the book "Hog Hunting with Dogs: The Hogdoggers Bible" by Sean Kelley.

Their airboat fleet features six-passenger vessels powered by 700 hp engines that can run on dry ground, reaching areas larger tour boats cannot access. Tours operate year-round on the St. Johns River, which holds approximately 1,000 gators per mile.
