Tampa Carry is a firearm training operation built by Ryan G. Thomas, a U.S. Air Force veteran and NRA-certified instructor who's been teaching concealed carry and firearms safety in the Tampa Bay area for 15+ years. Ryan's motivation came from a specific incident. During a church service in 2004, a potential active shooter threat forced him to lock down the children's building. Standing guard at an all-glass entrance, he realized he was defenseless—his wife Tiffany was against guns in the house, and he didn't have a concealed carry permit. That moment changed everything. Ryan got his permit, then started teaching others how to own firearms safely and responsibly.
