All American Firearms

All American Firearms has been operating since 2008 and handles all types of firearms work—from pre-Revolutionary War antiques to the latest models. They're located at 4863C Milgen Road in Columbus, GA, and they've got the equipment to back up their capabilities: lathe, mill, welder, and full machine shop.

Patrick Sleem leads the shop as a Certified Master Gunsmith with 15+ years of hands-on experience. He's a West Point graduate and Iraq combat veteran. The team also includes Rebecca Cooper, who graduated from Sonoran Desert Institute Gunsmith School. They accept vocational trainees from the Army Career Skills Program (CSP), and several former employees have gone on to work for major gun manufacturers.

• •Custom trigger work – Glock trigger jobs ($95 with Ghost connector), standard trigger jobs ($130), full 1911 improvement packages ($225–$450)
• •Machine work – RMR/optic cuts on slides, rail mounting, barrel threading, barrel crowning, welding, slide serrations, dovetails
• •Refinishing – Cerakote and Duracoat (including custom patterns from images), cold blue re-bluing, hydrographics (hydro dipping), stock refinishing
• •Accuracy work – Glass bedding ($150), scope mounting with leveling and boresighting ($55), 100-yard boresight ($40)
• •Repairs – Everything from detail cleaning ($25–$50) to stuck case/ammo removal, sight installation, broken part removal
• •FFL transfers – $35 per transfer for Georgia residents; no advance notice required on shipped firearms
• •Appraisals & consignment – Written firearms appraisals ($40 for up to 3 guns), estate sales assistance

They partner with local specialty businesses for hot blueing and hydrographics services. They also offer NFA engraving and can create custom Cerakote/Duracoat patterns from images.
