Boggy Pond Plantation is a family-owned hunting destination spanning over 3,000 acres of beautiful longleaf yellow pine timberland in Moultrie, Georgia. While primarily known for exceptional bobwhite quail hunting, the plantation also features a sporting clay course that welcomes shooters year-round for practice and competitive events.
The property includes a challenging sporting clay course set in natural surroundings, ideal for warm-up sessions before quail hunts or for honing shooting skills during breaks. The course hosts regional sporting clay competitions that attract top shooters from south Georgia and north Florida throughout the year.
Located at 1084 Lanier Road, Moultrie, Georgia 31768, Boggy Pond is conveniently situated: - 2 miles south of Moultrie Airport (5,100 ft runway) - 45 miles from Albany, Georgia airport - 65 miles from Tallahassee, Florida airport - Airport shuttle service available from all three airports
Boggy Pond offers six fully-equipped lodges ranging from 2 to 5 bedrooms, all heated and air-conditioned. The main lodge is a historic turn-of-the-century schoolhouse featuring a large dining and lounge area with fireplace. The property includes a stocked bass lake, home-style southern meals, and professional guides with over 100 years of combined hunting experience.
The hunting season runs October 1 through March 31. Full-day hunts with lodging and meals start at $450 per person, with various packages available. Sporting clay shoots are offered throughout the year. Gun rentals available for $20/day.
