Etowah Valley Game Preserve

Etowah Valley Game Preserve operates five separate hunting areas ranging from 40 to 130 acres each, giving hunters different terrain and experience options on every visit. The preserve runs guided and self-guided hunts from October 1st through March 31st.

Guided Flush Hunts start at $315 for a half-day (4 birds per hunter) and $480 for a full day (8 birds per hunter). Hunts come with experienced guides and trained dogs.

Self-Guided Flush Hunts let you hunt with your own dogs for $240 per hunter (half-day).

British Hunts ($300 half-day) work with raised-bird releases and multiple shooting stations—designed for 12-14 hunters on a line.

Extreme Quail Hunts are guided-only at $415 per hunter (half-day), with 24 quail per person.

Clays & Feathers combines a morning clay course at their sister facility (Etowah Valley Sporting Clays Park) with a guided afternoon hunt for $400 per hunter.

Hunters can choose straight shoot (one bird type) or mixed bag (pheasant, chukar, and quail combined). Bird options include 4 pheasants, 8 chukar, or 12 quail per hunter on half-day hunts—double those for full days.

All guided hunts require a 50% nonrefundable deposit. Guide gratuity runs 15% of your total bill, and they ask for cash.

Bird Processing: Breasted birds cost $1.25 each; whole birds run $2.25. Extra birds available—pheasants at $25, chukar at $16, quail at $10.

Group Size: Minimum 2 hunters, maximum 4 on standard hunts. Solo hunters add $25-$50 to the base price depending on hunt type.
