Etowah Valley Sporting Clays is North Georgia's premier destination for clay target shooting, located in the scenic Appalachian foothills just off Highway 400 near Dawsonville. Our facility welcomes beginners learning to shoot for the first time and experienced competitive shooters alike.

Etowah Valley offers multiple clay shooting disciplines:

• •Skeet Shooting - Clay targets launched at high speeds from two mechanical throwers at different arcs, providing challenging presentations
• •Trap Shooting - 25 clay targets hurled from a single machine per round; shooters rotate through 5 different shooting positions
• •Five Stand Course - Shooters progress through 5 stations, engaging 25 targets total with pre-announced target presentations
• •Sporting Clays - Dynamic course simulating hunting scenarios across varied terrain

We offer private shooting lessons from NSCA-certified instructors who can guide shooters from their first shotgun experience to advanced competitive techniques. Our Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) teams - the Etowah Valley Mambas and Fideles Christian School Rangers - provide youth ages 4th-12th grade with team-based training and competition opportunities.

Our scenic lodge and open-air event pavilion accommodate corporate outings, fundraisers, birthdays, reunions, and other gatherings. We offer professional event photography services to capture memories from your day. The Clays & Feathers package combines morning clay shooting with a guided upland bird hunt at Etowah Valley Game Preserve.

Etowah Valley is a shotgun-only facility requiring target loads exclusively to ensure safe, consistent experiences for all guests. We operate Thursday through Sunday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM on a first-come, first-serve basis with no reservations required.
