Full description and what we offer
Progressive Defense Group operates on a straightforward principle: active self-protection starts with awareness. Their team—former law enforcement and military professionals—teaches that defense is a progression, not a single skill. It starts with situational awareness and mindset, then moves through the decision-making process, and if necessary, physical response.
Their framework is simple: Observe. Orientate. Decide. Act. Repeat as necessary.
Firearms training includes:
- •NRA Basic Pistol - knowledge, skills, and safe firearm ownership fundamentals
- •NRA CCW Course - concealed carry knowledge and safe carry practices
- •Defensive Pistol - deploying a pistol in life-threatening situations
- •Basic AR Rifle 101 - AR safety, maintenance, and fundamentals
- •Defensive Rifle - rifle deployment in critical self-defense scenarios
- •Women's Concealed Carry Class - tailored for women learning to conceal carry
- •Concealed Carry and Georgia Gun Laws Seminar - state-specific law and use of force continuum
- •Private Lessons - customized instruction at your skill level
They also teach what happens before weapons become necessary:
- •Breaking the Grab - escape techniques and self-defense mentality
- •Home Defense Fundamentals - securing your residence and family
- •CRASE - Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (based on ALERRT protocol)
- •Less Lethal & Improvised Weapons - non-lethal defensive options
- •Situational Awareness - recognizing threats before they escalate
- •Emergency First Aid - field medicine and life-saving skills
"Everyone has the right to defend themselves, their loved ones, and others in need of help."
Progressive Defense Group is an official USCCA Partner since 2013, meaning they're aligned with the United States Concealed Carry Association's three pillars: education, training, and legal protection. They also work with Palisade International for protective services, investigation, and risk analysis.
