Ranch Patrol Firearms Training specializes in getting Texans licensed to carry. Their approach cuts out the typical hassle: skip the crowded classroom waiting list and take the state-mandated 4-hour online LTC course at your own pace—30 minutes a day or all at once. Work through it on your phone, computer, or tablet from home, your office, or anywhere with internet.
After you finish the online portion, you'll get your LTC-101 form. Then schedule a 1-2 hour range qualification with them in Athens. The range training includes firearms instruction and your shooting qualification.
License to Carry Program: - Online LTC course: $60 - Range qualification: $80 (if taking online class through their link) or $100 (if taking course elsewhere) - Evening weekday range sessions available
Security Officer Certifications: - Level 2-3-4 online courses plus Level 3 "Part 2" range training (use of force, firearms, handcuffs, baton) - Level 3 Part 2 range qualification: $120 - Security renewal with range qualification: $150 - OC spray certification: 2-hour course (required once for Level 3+ officers)
Firearms Classes: - Beginner Pistol: $100 - Defensive Pistol 1, 2, 3: $100 each - School Safety Certification: $300 (instructors with LTC) - Church Security Training available - First Responders Certification
