Handgun 201 is an intermediate-level course built for shooters who already possess a solid foundation in basic handgun skills and are ready to take the next step. This class goes beyond fundamentals, focusing on advanced handgun techniques, efficient gun handling, and the application of skills in dynamic, real-world environments. Students will refine accuracy, speed, and consistency while learning to operate their handgun more effectively under stress. Emphasis is placed on tactical problem-solving, decision-making, and accountability in high-pressure situations. Handgun 201 is ideal for law enforcement, military personnel, and serious civilian defenders who want to push past static range training and develop skills that translate to real-world defensive encounters. This course is about building capability, confidence, and mindset—training with purpose, not just punching holes in paper. Course Objectives By the end of Handgun 201, students will be able to:
Demonstrate advanced handgun manipulation with increased speed, efficiency, and consistency Apply improved marksmanship techniques under time constraints and elevated stress Safely and effectively manage the handgun during dynamic movement and positional shooting Make sound, lawful, and tactically appropriate decisions in simulated high-pressure scenarios Identify and correct individual performance deficiencies through structured drills and coaching Integrate mindset, situational awareness, and accountability into defensive handgun use Transition from static range performance to practical, real-world defensive application

Prerequisites: Participants must have a good understanding of their handgun or good understanding of handguns and safety, minimum of 300 rounds through handguns overall, Intro to Handgun or Handgun 101 Completion or an equivalent basic handgun tactics course. A solid understanding of fundamental handgun handling and safety is required. Equipment:
500 rounds factory ammo Strong side belt holster Sturdy belt Minimum of 3 Magazines Suitable magazine carrier (pockets ok too) Hat, sun block, rain gear, we will shoot RAIN or SHINE Knee pads (optional) Camel back (or something you can bring water in) Eye and Hearing Protection Last but not least an OPEN MIND and willingness to learn
Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Handgun 201 certification, acknowledging their advanced proficiency in tactical handgun operations.
