South Carolina Gun School

South Carolina Gun School specializes in Concealed Weapons Permit training for both new and experienced gun owners. Their SC CWP class is designed to meet South Carolina's certification requirements—covering the legal, practical, and safety aspects of concealed carry in the state.

Legal Framework: - South Carolina gun laws and CWP requirements - Restricted areas and carry limitations - "Stand your ground" and "castle doctrine" principles - Legal use of force in self-defense situations - How to interact with law enforcement during a stop

Practical Skills: - Firearm safety fundamentals and safe handling - Concealed carry methods and holster selection - Drawing and re-holstering techniques - Basic marksmanship: stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control - Live-fire qualification course with multiple shooting positions and distances

Scenario Training: - Real-life defensive scenarios - Role-playing exercises to build decision-making confidence

Duration: 8 hours Location: 8114 Old Greenville Hwy, Easley, SC 29642 Prerequisites: No prior experience required. Open to South Carolina residents and non-residents who own property in SC and are eligible to apply.

What to Bring: - A handgun (revolver or semi-automatic, any caliber) - 50 rounds of ammunition - Eye and ear protection - Optional: belt and holster

Firearms and ammunition can be provided upon request (ammo has additional cost)

Enrollment: Minimum 2 students required per class. Classes may be rescheduled if minimum enrollment isn't met or for severe weather. No refunds, but dates can be moved.

Beyond the SC CWP class, South Carolina Gun School also offers handgun training at intermediate and advanced levels, rifle/carbine courses, shotgun training, private instruction, and constitutional carry workshops.
