Benelli manufactures shotguns and rifles designed around a single proven principle: the Inertia Driven® system. Developed in 1967, this operating system handles a wide range of loads—light field loads through heavy 3½-inch magnums—without adjustments. Benelli shotguns using Inertia Driven technology have fired 500,000+ rounds and still function perfectly.
The system is simple by design: only three main parts, which means easier cleaning and maintenance. Steel locking lugs on a rotating bolt head provide durability. No complex adjustments. No user tweaking. It cycles or it doesn't, and it cycles.
