First Patriot's Freedom

First Patriot's Freedom offers firearms instruction that meets Hawaii's specific legal requirements. Whether you're getting your first firearm or advancing your defensive skills, they run structured courses with small class sizes—max 5 students per session.

• •NRA Basic Pistol Training & Firearm Safety — 4 hours classroom, 2 hours range. Covers firearms knowledge and safe handling, then live fire with 5 different firearms types. Meets Hawaii's basic safety requirement. Firearms and ammo provided.

• •NRA Basic CCW — 8 hours classroom, 4 hours range. Hawaii's concealed carry course taught by NRA instructors. Covers fundamentals and CCW-specific topics. You bring your carry gun.

• •Hawaii County CCL Affidavit of Qualification — The specific course Hawaii County requires for concealed carry licenses. Covers their firearms proficiency test (3 attempts allowed) and provides the signed affidavit needed for CCL applications.

• •Basic Pistol from Holster Training — 3 hours. Teaches the draw, firing positions, and accuracy from a holster. Requires proof of basic safety training first.

• •Defensive Pistol Shooting — 3 hours of advanced instruction. Move-and-shoot drills, stress fire, tactical reloads, shooting from cover, shooting at distance. This is one-on-one focused training that builds real skills.

All students must be 21+, U.S. citizens, and legally able to own firearms. You'll sign a liability waiver.

For basic courses, they provide firearms and ammunition. For advanced courses, bring your own gun and ammo. The defensive pistol course requires 250 rounds; holster training requires 150.

9x19mm Parabellum is available for purchase if you need range ammunition.

They're focused on Hawaii-specific requirements, particularly the Hawaii County concealed carry licensing process. The small class size means you get actual instruction, not standing in a crowd. Instructors are NRA-certified and experienced.
