Full description and what we offer
Parker Ranch sits on one of Hawaii's largest private properties, stretching from the ocean to 8,000 feet elevation on Maunakea. The terrain varies enough to challenge serious hunters while delivering scenery that makes every hunt memorable, whether you connect or not.
You can hunt mouflon sheep, mouflon hybrid sheep, pigs, and goats on the same outing. The hunt fee is $2,000 for the first hunter, $1,500 for a second—that gives you access to all three big game species. Add $500 per animal harvested.
Spring Rio Grande turkey season runs March 1–April 15. First hunter tag is $1,750, second hunter $1,250 for one tom each. Additional toms run $1,500 each. Hawaii allows 3 toms per hunter—all harvestable in a single day.
| Hunt Type | Fee | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Big Game (1st hunter) | $2,000 | All 3 species access, lunch, drinks, snacks |
| Big Game (2nd hunter) | $1,500 | All 3 species access, lunch, drinks, snacks |
| Turkey (1st hunter) | $1,750 | Single tom, one guide |
| Turkey (2nd hunter) | $1,250 | Single tom, one guide |
Firearms (Tikka and Remington bolt-action rifles in .243, .270, and .308 with Leupold scopes) and ammunition are provided free. Archery hunters bring their own equipment. Your guides will help with meat preparation and packing.
Hunts start before sunrise and typically last 10 hours. Your guides aim to get you within 300 yards for most shots. Shorter hunts or afternoon-only outings available by request.
Hawaii requires firearm registration on first import (schedule through any district police) and a valid hunting license (non-residents can request an exemption or purchase). Complete the online Hunter Safety Course well in advance.
What to bring: Hiking shoes, waterproof jacket, camo, hat, sunscreen. Optional but recommended: binoculars, day pack, knife, GPS.
Getting there: Kona International Airport (KOA), Hilo International (ITO), or Waimea-Kohala (MUE) are all close to the ranch.
"My guide was able to put me on a trophy ram in the morning and goats + hogs in the afternoon." — Billy M.
